Description

Our client, a national distributor o high-tech safety products has an immediate need for a Senior level Accountant with some cost accounting experience.

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the corporate controller and play a heavy role in the monthly close process. The Senior Accountant will have full responsibility for journal entries, bank reconciliations, monthly reporting and P& L generations. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is necessary as well as some cost accounting experience.

Requirements

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Mastery of General Ledger management is expected

• Familiarity with Monthly Close Processes is a must

• Expertise in Profit and Loss (P & L) Calculation is needed

• Proficiency in Standard Cost Accounting is crucial
