Our client, in Milan, is seeking a reliable and committed individual to join their team as a Tool and Die Maker. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that starts immediately. Apply today!

Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Location: Milan, MI

Pay Range: $30+ (D.O.E.)

What’s the Job?

• Performs general die maintenance - sharpening, repairing/replacing details, grinding, timing dies correctly

• Pressroom troubleshooting

• Maintains and upgrades fixtures and gages

• Maintains good safety and housekeeping practices

What’s Needed?

• Education - HS diploma or GED and 4 years of related trade school instruction

• At least 4 years' experience in production and troubleshooting

• Strong background on understanding die theory and troubleshooting

• Must be able to run all tool room equipment, read prints and run precision equipment

• Requires long hours of standing and walking, lifting up to 40lbs

• State certified Journeyman Status preferred
