Job Title: Avionics Repair Technician

Job Description

Our Client, a leader in aircraft solutions, has an exciting opportunity for an Avionics Repair Technician at their corporate headquarters in Moline, IL. Since 1936, they have been a world-class provider of comprehensive and customer-focused solutions for business aviation. This hands-on position is responsible for effectively troubleshooting and repairing all Avionics and Electrical equipment in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner to achieve total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Effectively troubleshoot and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft, and repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.

  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate progress regularly with the Department Manager, report unresolved issues, and discrepancies in tooling/equipment.

  • Inspection and Compliance: Ensure all work is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector, complete daily paperwork, and follow company processes for work orders and parts requisition.

  • Training and Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area, mentor Avionics Repair Technician level 1 personnel, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Avionic experience.

  • Experience with aircraft electrical systems.

  • Experience with corporate aircraft.

  • Experience with Garmin systems.

  • FCC Licensing (Nice to have)

  • Bench repair capabilities (Plus)

  • Candidates with previous install experience with GA or Commercial aircrafts will be considered even without Garmin experience.

Shift:

  • The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay:

  • $25-40.00/hr

  • Can exceed $40/hr for candidates with corporate experience and over seven years of experience
