Robert Half Project Documentation Administrator in Midland, Texas

Description

We are in the search for a Project Documentation Administrator to join our team in Midland, Texas. The role focuses on providing administrative support to engineers and the project team in the design and engineering of natural gas treatment facilities. This role will not transition into a permanent or contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Review and audit PFD/P& ID redlines from the engineering team

• Backcheck PFD/P& ID revisions from drafting

• Generate and update standard documentation resulting from PFD/P& ID changes

• Manage Bill of Materials including Major Equipment, Control Valves, Relief Valves, Manual Valves, Special Parts, and Instrumentation

• Monitor and communicate changes to the project team

• Assist in final equipment walkdowns to verify the accuracy of P& IDs before shipment

• Review and audit Job Book prior to shipment

• Update ERP dashboards with new BOMs

• Maintain Management of Change Summary: Drawings, POs, Datasheets, and Budget

• Develop and maintain the Line List

• Exhibit professionalism by establishing effective relationships with other employees

Requirements • Proven experience in project documentation within the Energy/Natural Resources industry.

• Proficiency in Supply Chain Management.

• Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) is essential.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Understanding of project management principles.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on information at hand.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
