POSITION SUMMARY: This position coordinates the Field Inspection process in each district location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain an environment that is compliant with the company’s Safety and Health Program to reduce work-related injuries and illness and to promote safety and health in every task undertaken by employees on behalf of the company.
Generate and maintain the required documentation to meet the company’s Field Inspection process.
Coordinate with third party NDE providers to complete Field Inspection requirements.
Communicate with regional specialists and District management on Field Inspection status, daily inspection requirements and daily operational requirements.
Disassemble, clean, prepare and assemble tools, frac heads and other equipment in preparation for field inspections.
Inspect, band and complete documentation per the company’s Field Inspection manual field assemblies.
Perform data entry into RTMS database as part of record maintenance and tracking for the Field Inspection process.
This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must have training in high pressure testing.
Must have a basic understanding of drawing interpretation such as with blueprints or schematics.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to operate hand tools.
Must be able to operate a crane truck and forklift.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must be a self-starter and work independently with little supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience in oil field equipment inspection and repair preferred.
Background in mechanical repair and testing preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything over 75 pounds but less than 150 pounds will require either a lifting device or two employees. Anything over 150 pounds will require a lifting device, per HSE guidelines.
Must be able to push, pull, bend, stand, kneel, sit, and climb for extended periods of time each day.
Requires safety glasses, steel toe boots and ear plugs to be worn as required by safety regulations.
Requires exposure to moderate noise levels.
Exposure to warm, hot and cold temperatures.
