Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Midland, Texas. This role is within the Bookkeeping Services industry and will be based on-site. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will report directly to the owner and will be responsible for ensuring financials for various companies are up-to-date and accurate.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring financial records are current for various companies around the Permian Basin

• Assisting with the input of journal entries

• Managing balance sheets

• Conducting reconciliation tasks

• Assisting with month-end close procedures

• Utilizing Quickbooks for daily tasks and operations

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action based on account status

• Utilizing various skills such as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of Computerized Accounting Systems. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years' experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Accounting Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required

• Demonstrated expertise in handling accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Ability to create and manage an Annual Budget

• Expertise in Cash Flow Analysis is required

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess problem-solving skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
