SUMMARY

Collect samples and perform field analyses in accordance with established procedures for use in the proprietary Imperative laboratory workflow. Execute proprietary Imperative laboratory workflow utilizing laboratory equipment to develop a best in class chemical product line to increase client well productivity.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Coordinate with Imperative laboratories and frac customers to determine the necessary samples for intended analyses
  • Collect samples according to established procedure and deliver samples to relevant laboratories
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple sampling projects at one time and prioritize work based on internal and external deadlines
  • Possesses generalized knowledge of oil and gas operations and products to identify and assist with solutions for design, manufacturing and quality problems
  • Provideproductanalysis using accepted scientific methods and summarize results for internal and external customers
  • Analyze and interpret characteristics, information, and data related to materials and fluids based upon results of analysis techniques todevelop a best in class fracturing fluid chemical
  • Design, maintain, and optimize laboratory databases regularly to enhance lab function
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding internal and external data and analysis
  • Develop and provide technical training for internal and externalcustomers
  • Maintain relationships with customers and other field personnel to answer questions and resolve issues
  • Understand lab workflows and seeks efficiencies
  • Capture needs of lab as demand reaches capacity

PREFERRED SKILLS, EDUCATION and KNOWLEDGE:

  • B.S. degree preferred, A.S. required (may be substituted for minimum of 2 years of relevant experience)
  • Laboratory analytical and testing skills
  • Understand lab processes and efficiencies
  • Self-starter | Fast learner | Attention to detail
  • Excel | PowerPoint | Microsoft Word
  • Mathematical aptitude | Mechanical aptitude |Ability to protect confidential information
  • Oil and gas industry experience with knowledge of fracturing fluid chemical product lines a plus
