Description We are searching for a skilled EDI Specialist to play an essential role in our team in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, based in Midland, Texas, 79706, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves the use of various skills such as Accounting Software Systems, Computerized Billing, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Open Invoice, and Ariba.

Responsibilities:

• Upload invoices into Ariba and Open Invoice platforms

• Confirm the accuracy of the invoices uploaded

• Conduct research to resolve any discrepancies found

• Take charge of special projects as assigned

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Handle high volume EDI portals including Ariba and Open Invoice

• Report directly to the Office Manager

• Work on-site from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Experience with Computerized Billing is required.

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Skill in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is expected.

• Familiarity with Open Invoice and Ariba software is advantageous.

• At least 1 year of experience as an EDI Specialist in the Oil & Gas - Field Svcs industry is preferred.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams to resolve EDI issues is required.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues are necessary.

• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is expected.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
