We are offering a contract for an Accounts Payable Clerk position in Midland, Texas. In this role, you'll be part of a team that plays a vital role in our finance department. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for the processing of invoices, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Processing a large number of invoices using QuickBooks.

• Ensuring invoices are correctly matched, batched, and coded.

• Performing data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks.

• Conducting account reconciliation to maintain accurate records.

• Researching and resolving discrepancies in invoices.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.

• Utilizing 10-key accounting skills for data entry and other tasks.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and invoice processing

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and systems

• Demonstrable experience with coding invoices

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Familiarity with 10-Key Accounting methods

• Experience with Coupa procurement software

• Ability to handle confidential information in a detail oriented and discreet manner

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
