We have a four-month co-op opportunity available for a Georgian College student in either the HRMN or BAHR program. In this role, you will assist our Talent Acquisition team in various recruitment activities as Raytheon ELCAN continues to grow.

About Raytheon ELCAN:

Located about 50 kilometres north of Barrie, the Town of Midland offers a perfect blend of urban amenities and natural beauty nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay, making it an ideal place to work, grow, and belong.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Talent Acquisition team on the full recruitment cycle process

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Hiring Managers

• Conduct screening and interviews

• Prepare new hire documentation using existing templates

• Support onboarding when required

• Identify and develop process improvements and work instructions with a continuous improvement and efficiency mindset

• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Enrollment in College or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

• Completion of one prior internship/work term in a Human Resources or Business-related required

• Working towards Human Resources designation, 2nd and 3rd year students preferred.

• Proven verbal and written communications skills

• Professional, responsive, and customer-focused

• High attention to detail

• Proficient computer skills in a variety of applications

• Positive attitude
