Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Position Summary

As a member of the Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) North America Supply Chain Team, you will help facilitate the capacity and supply planning for the critical ICT suppliers, including external suppliers, outside vendors running TE-owned tools or machines, and TE-owned, non-ICT plants. This position will take a proactive approach to integrating inputs from operations, suppliers, and demand management to ensure a robust and adequate supply chain network for the long-term horizon.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and present capacity models that provide visibility on future component needs, procured finished good needs, and respective capacity gaps.

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on capacity for assigned critical suppliers, within the supply chain team.

• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing team on dual sourcing and supplier development initiatives.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate component ramps for incoming capacity.

• Coordinate and execute quarterly Supplier Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings focusing on long term capacity.

• Lead Supply Reviews with other TE Business Units that supply ICT.

• Train suppliers to update / maintain their capacity in SAP IBP.

• Supply Chain contact person supporting enterprise technology projects related to supplier planning.

• Facilitate flow of supplier S&OP output into central ICT S&OP process. Coordinate identification and budgeting of any tooling / OV CapEx.

What your background should look like:

Experience and Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related degree, preferred; equivalent experience will be considered

• 3+ years’ experience, including 2+ years in Supply Chain or Procurement

• Extensive Excel skills required to support reporting and analytics requirements

• Travel 10%-15%

• Data visualization experience via Tableau/Power BI, and proficiency with Python, SQL, R is a huge plus.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $65,840 - $98,760(subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
