Job Overview

Job Summary:

We seek MGR I IT OPERATIONS to join our TEIS Organization in Middletown, Pennsylvania.

This person supervises IT employees and contractors who use and optimize the equipment and the company's computer systems. It includes offering technical and operative support to the users to provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of the customer to appropriate technical personnel. This individual will also be a direct IT link to the various business units, emphasizing business engagement on customer advocacy, digital factories, and educating users about the IT services and solutions. This person will be based at our office in Middletown, PA, and will regularly be exposed to an international team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the IT Director and provides leadership to a group of Regional Service Deliver employees based in the region.

  • This position will work with key business units and IT leadership to ensure that development activities align with strategic plans.

  • Assist in the team's technology vision and leadership and ensure overall strategic vision, mission, and culture.

  • Required to travel to visit team members and customers in the business units regularly

  • Requires the ability to manage and work on multiple complicated projects & assignments within tight timelines and work streams simultaneously.

  • Maintaining a clear focus on priorities while dealing with competing user needs.

  • Must be able to deliver results based on project deadlines.

  • Build strong and positive working relationships with all functional areas.

  • Highly energized and self-motivated individual, experienced in the lead and implementing change.

  • Experience with a manufacturing environment, lean manufacturing disciplines, and shop floor systems is desirable.

What your background should look like:

Competencies & Experience Required/Desired:

  • 2-5 years' experience in a leadership position.

  • Leadership qualities to lead associates through needs assessment, scope definition, training, and follow-up coaching.

  • Highly energized and self-motivated individual, experienced in implementing change.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate effectively to executive and developer levels.

  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.

  • Manufacturing and/or engineering industry experience is desirable.

Educational Required/Desired:

  • An associate's degree in IT, computer science, or a related field is required.

  • A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge is required.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $117,100 - $175,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
