Description We are offering an opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Middletown, Pennsylvania, United States. The role involves supporting a financial services organization and can be performed either remotely or in a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all Automated Clearing House (ACH) activities and wire transfers for members and providing member support via phone, email, and chat.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of origination files, ACH exceptions, and disputes

• Perform OFAC review and decisioning of payment files

• Carry out ACH specific functions daily from and to applicable systems within prescribed timeframes

• Balance and reconcile daily ACH transaction activity

• Accurately answer questions from members and internal departments

• Provide support by answering questions, performing research, and making any necessary adjustments to accounts

• Accurately perform daily wire functions including processing incoming and outgoing domestic, international USD and FX wire transfers, and incoming and outgoing securities in a timely manner and in accordance with OFAC requirements

• Perform Positive Pay function, including daily processing, settlement, and reconciliation

• Review and process cash orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery and posting of order files

• Use skills in EFT Payments, Wire Transfer, Customer Service, OFAC Regulation, Banking Transaction, and Account Reconciliation. Requirements

Associate degree or higher in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience processing EFT, ACH and wire transfers or related banking back-office operations

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills
