DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Within this Clerical Assistant 3 position, you will receive and respond to a variety of phone calls and emails regarding various PA Lottery issues and processes, in addition to independently addressing issues and providing information and solutions to best assist callers.  Specific duties involve communicating with retailers who have received extra tickets or have not received requested tickets, and assisting to resolve those issues.  You will compose various letters and forms surrounding licensures and claims and process damaged tickets.  You will also participate in training new employees on procedures and customer service.  The ability to communicate effectively and adhere to lottery policies and procedures is essential.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title);or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Call center experience Customer service experience
