RESTORATION CARPENTER IN HARRISBURG - START ASAP

Job Description

• Shop located in Middletown, PA.

• Residential or commercial buildings that have been damaged by wind, flood, or fire.

• Primarily involves finishing tasks such as hanging and finishing drywall, painting, and installing trim, windows, and doors.

• Restoration experience is highly recommended but not required.

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of carpentry experience, a valid driver's license.

• The ability to use an iPad for work orders and real-time project updates is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry duties at homes or commercial buildings affected by wind, flood, or fire.

• Conduct finishing tasks including hanging and finishing drywall, painting, and installing trim, windows, and doors.

• Assist with demolition work when necessary.

• Construct appropriate containment for construction dust, dirt, and airborne contaminants in working areas.

• Perform tasks related to flood cutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.

• Identify different types of insulation, their thickness, and their respective R-value.

• Work nights and weekends as requested and travel periodically.

Benefits

• $20-$25/hour

• First Shift Monday - Friday.
