Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a Lab Technician in Middletown, OH!

Shift: 2-2-3 schedule | Overnight: 5pm-5am

Starting Pay: $25.79/hour

Job Summary

The Lab Technician is responsible for managing and improving laboratory processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and conducting quality testing and certification of products. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve laboratory processes.

• Conduct quality testing and certification of products.

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulations.

• Calibrate, inspect, and measure laboratory equipment.

• Handle, prepare, and store solvents safely.

• Perform routine clerical tasks and sample requests.

• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

• Complete projects and tasks to improve the quality department.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hands on experience of the maintenance & repairs, in addition to the use of lab equipment such as pH meters, moisture balances, KF apparatus, HPLC’s, GC’s, IC’s and viscometers. This can be obtained in an educational setting or in a full-time job role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Hands-on experience with lab equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
