Job Title: Healthy Families Supervisor
Pay Rate:$21.63
Location: Middletown , NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 8 hours per day (Some flexibility needed)

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide guidance to home visiting staff who provide support, crisis intervention, education and follow-up services to identified families that have potential for child abuse or neglect.
In this position you will:
-Provide weekly case supervision for staff including documentation review
-Analyze data to support and improve program outcomes
-Provide and coordinate staff training, assessment of skills, and identification of development areas
-Interview candidates and manage staff vacancies
-Responsible for the timely completion of all program related activities including quarterly and annual reports
-Facilitate team meetings, skill building, and team building sessions
-Provide weekly direct case supervision for staff
-Provide staff training, assessment of skills, and identification of development areas
-Review all staff progress notes & documentation
-Responsible for the timely completion of all program related activities
-Lead support workers with recommendations and follow up supports
-Attend workshops and training to enhance skill-sets
-Provide support, crisis intervention, advocacy, and follow-up services for identified families that have potential for child abuse or neglect
-Provide referrals for the families to community agencies, including the Healthy Families
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families, or bachelor’s degree in these fields with three years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor’s degree but with commensurate HFA experience
-3 years demonstrated supervisory experience is required
-Professional experience in child development, home visiting services, and child welfare work
-Personal lived experience in child development is a plus
-Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
-This position requires travel to and from home visits
-Additionally position includes travel to schools, community resources, and other locations based on staff or case needs
