Description of the role:
The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers in selecting, purchasing, and leasing vehicles at Friendly Acura of Middletown. This role requires providing excellent customer service, extensive knowledge of automotive products, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Compensation: $70,000-$100,000/year
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in the car buying process, including test drives, financing options, and trade-in evaluations
Provide information on vehicle features, specifications, and pricing
Build and maintain a client base by effectively communicating and following up with potential and existing customers
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction
Stay updated on new products, features, and accessories in the automotive industry
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
Requirements:
Prior experience in automotive sales or a similar sales role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of automotive products and industry trends
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Valid driver's license
