Wesleyan University Temporary Administrative Assistant, Registrar’s Office in Middletown, Connecticut
Under the direction of the Senior Associate Registrar, the Temporary Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Registrar’s Office, including assisting students, staff, faculty, alumni, and others in person, via email, and phone.
Responsibilities include:
Assist faculty, students, and staff with academic systems, including Workday, DocFinity, PeopleSoft, Parchment, Stellic, Microsoft Office suite, and the National Student Clearinghouse.
Assist with undergraduate enrollment and degree verifications, final exam process, and Workday finances and vouchers.
Process courses and grades for the study abroad sponsored programs.
Maintains office supplies.
Provides backup for the electronic transcript ordering process and student records.
Provides support for posting credit for Advanced Placement and other test scores, as well as transfer credits.
Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.
This is an on-campus position that works up to 35 hours per week from January through March 2025.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to coordinate work priorities, demonstrate initiative, organize details and follow-through with minimal supervision. Strong communication, technical and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse environment with individuals with diverse backgrounds.Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degree Five years of experience in a student service environment Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft student modules and Workday.
