Ameritech Contracting, LLC. Construction Project Manager in Middletown, Connecticut
Plan, direct, or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience relative toproject size and scope or equivalent combination of education, training, and/orexperience. Excellent business judgment demonstrated by consistently achieving profitabilityobjectives and strong project close-outs with client and subcontractor relationshipsin good standing. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail evidenced by a strongcommand of all applicable contract and legal provisions. Ability to consistently analyze and execute financial trade-offs which frequentlyinvolve dealing with incomplete data and ambiguity. Ability to constantly multi-task and handle competing priorities between Enfield'sbusiness needs, organizational issues, and sound customer relations. Possess judgment to know when to appropriately escalate issues up the chain ofcommand. The ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to new processes and new ways of looking at old problems A strong sense of urgency and initiative. Able to quickly study and react to complex issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take action confidently anddecisively. Team leader with excellent diplomatic and communication skills, able to handleand resolve conflicts effectively in a firm but fair manner. Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
