This position is for an Experienced Procurement professional to manage critical engine hardware. Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Authorizes purchase orders, approve payments, and responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

What You Will Do:

  • Conducting Standard Product Purchasing responsibilities, including order placement, coordinating demand and scheduling, supplier relationship management, delivery assurance and turn back monitoring and reporting

  • Responsible for tracking Critical Parts to include the identification of any part shortages by engine module to ensure that the production schedule is met

  • Authorizing purchase orders and approving payments to ensure the procurement process is timely and efficient

  • Analyzing and review price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices

  • Preparing and reviewing request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages

  • Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within the IBR commodity

  • Ensuring product is delivered on time, meets quality standards and at the right cost

  • Compliance with all aspects of the Pratt & Whitney Procurement Manual, GSC Standard Work, UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Project Management, Technical or related field and 5 years of experience in supply chain or related field; OR an advanced degree with 3 years of experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

    Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to communicate throughout all executive and non-executive levels of the organization

  • Experience in materials or supply chain management and Aerospace Industry

  • Experience as a day-to-day user of SAP, entering transactions and running reports

  • Strong customer focus experience with a focus on business results

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
