Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating an Amada Press Brake machine to form metal parts. The role involves bending and forming sheet metal in accordance with customer specifications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in blueprint reading to accurately set the machinery to specific requirements, and have experience with Amada machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada Press Brake machine.

• Read and interpret blueprints to meet customer specifications.

• Form and bend sheet metal parts accurately.

• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience operating press brake machines.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.

• Skilled in machine operation and maintenance.

• Familiarity with Amada NT Controller is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with punch press operations.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Work Environment

You will be working in a team of 5 to 10 people within a larger production team of up to 40 people, all on one shift. The facility is very clean, temperature-controlled, and air-conditioned. Steel-toed shoes and jeans are required attire. This is a very nice facility to work in, providing a comfortable and safe work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middleton, Massachusetts.
