Day-To-Day:

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to sit fully onsite in Middle River, MD. The Lead Quality Engineer will be part of a team of 3 engineers where they will be responsible for any compliance and quality issues that arise. They will work side by side with the shop floor to identity problems and assist in remediated any issues. They will utilize root cause corrective actions to address any problems. The Lead Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading the other 2 engineers on the team, and act as a point of escalation.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors Degree

- 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing background

- Experience with AS9100 compliance

- Experience with root cause analysis tools including 8D and 5 WHYS

- Experience with corrective action

- Experience working side by side the shop floor, engaging, and addressing issues as they arise

- Experience overseeing or leading others Experience in aerospace industry null
