Job Title: Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

Seeking various positions in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts to help with the assembly of medical device products. The candidate will be responsible for the assembly and sub-assembly of products and the sterilization of raw materials and finished products using alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and sub-assemble medical device products.

• Sterilize raw materials and finished products using alcohol.

• Troubleshoot equipment and complete basic repairs on braiding machines that encase plastic catheters with metal reinforcement.

• Ensure tools and test equipment are properly calibrated and repaired according to standard operating procedures.

• Perform lock out and tag out procedures.

Essential Skills

• Machine operation

• Mechanical assembly

• Production line experience

• Preventive maintenance

• Mechanically inclined

• Good hand and eye coordination for sub-assembly

Work Environment

The work environment is a GMP environment. The braiding machine room is noisy, and employees will need earplugs, which are provided by the company. PPE is provided except for steel-toe shoes. The area is climate-controlled. Shifts available are 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with an 8% differential, and 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with a 12% differential. Orientation is on the first day at 8am, followed by a minimum of 3 months of training/shadowing on the designated shift unless otherwise informed.

This is a Contract position based out of MIAMI LAKES, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.16
