Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring goods are accurately received, stored, and dispatched. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Goods: Unload deliveries, inspect items for damage, and verify the quantity and quality of products received.

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and assist with restocking shelves and bins.

• Order Picking and Packing: Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Shipping: Prepare items for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and ensuring timely dispatch.

• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring goods are stored in the correct locations for easy access.

• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company policies and regulations.

• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (training may be provided).

• Customer Service: Assist with customer inquiries and resolve minor issues related to orders or deliveries.

• General Support: Assist with any other warehouse-related tasks as needed, including helping other team members or supervisors.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in warehouse or logistics roles is a plus but not required.

• Basic math and computer skills.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [Insert weight] lbs/kgs) as needed.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• Forklift certification (if required) or willingness to obtain certification.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skill
