Vice President of Civil Engineering - South Florida
KEITH is seeking a Vice President of Civil Engineering to join our team in South Florida. We are looking for an inspiring leader to guide our civil engineering division, championing innovation and excellence. KEITH is a well-established multidisciplinary company offering civil engineering, land surveying, subsurface utility engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and construction management services. As the Vice President of Civil Engineering, you will:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the civil engineering division, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget.
Drive business development initiatives, including client acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion.
Collaborate with other KEITH disciplines, such as transportation, geospatial, landscape architecture, and construction management, to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary solutions.
Represent KEITH at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and credibility.
Mentor and develop senior leaders and staff within the civil engineering team, cultivating a high-performance culture.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain adherence to industry best practices.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required.
15+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated success in leading complex projects in land development, infrastructure, and municipal engineering.
Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Knowledge of relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
