Description

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and support server, storage, and network systems while providing technical expertise to resolve complex system issues.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network systems).

• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and optimize resources to ensure system efficiency.

• Manage system security by implementing patches, updates, and configuring firewalls.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues.

• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise applications.

• Ensure system backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.

• Automate routine tasks using scripting and other tools to improve efficiency.

• Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar IT infrastructure role.

• Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization, and cloud platforms.

• Experience with storage systems, networking, and system security.

• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware, CompTIA Server+) are a plus.
