Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.

• General Ledger Maintenance:

• Record daily financial transactions in the general ledger.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.

• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

• Analyze budget variances and report findings to management.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
