Job Description

We are seeking a Seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the Transportation Domain. We are looking for someone who can commit to a long-term engagement and bring substantial value through their Supply Chain expertise. The Immediate Focus will be managing the initial project through the end of the year to enhance integrations between Turvo TMS and Workday. It will also be a top priority to address 10 critical items to stabilize the integration. In the long term this role also involves leading critical projects, including the potential transitioning our brokerage platform and exploring enhancements in managed transportation..

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead and manage projects with a focus on Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Financial Integrations.

 Oversee project financials and ensure effective tracking using tools like MS Project.

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate their value.

 Enhance integrations between Turvo TMS and Workday, focusing on financial systems and data delivery.

 Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leaders.

Skills and Requirements

- 10+ years experience working as an IT Project Manager in an enterprise environment

- Specific experience leading projects in the Supply Chain/ Transportation domain ideally projects related to TMS (Transportation Management Systems)

- Specific experience with financial transactions from an IT integration perspective strong experience leading financial systems integration projects

- Strong experience being responsible for executive-level communication, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and timely updates

- Demonstrate excellent expertise in managing project budgets, strong experience tracking and optimizing project financials to ensure efficient resource allocation

- Proficiently work with Project Management tracking tools such as MS Project, ADO, or ServiceNow (Ryder is transitioning to ServiceNow SPM).

- Possess an innate curiosity and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring thorough project execution

- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactively addressing challenges

- Operates independently, demonstrating a proactive, self-driven approach without requiring constant supervision - In depth experience leading projects within the Transportation Domain null
