Project Manager - Construction Team
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our client's Construction team. This role supports the New Market Strategy and Territory Growth teams as our client continues its nationwide expansion.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in construction (required)
Experience: At least 5 years in a construction project management role, including multisite program rollouts and retail expansion
Strong understanding of construction specifications, blueprints, and lease documentation
Proven ability to multitask and stay highly organized in a fast-paced environment
Calm, collaborative, and solutions-oriented under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
Oversee the delivery of construction projects, ensuring timely completion of new facility locations
Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets from planning to completion
Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and escalate major concerns as needed
Communicate effectively with landlords, property managers, general contractors, and team members
Budgeting & Scheduling
- Prepare job budgets, create detailed project schedules, and coordinate overall project delivery
Contracting & Negotiation
Oversee the preparation and execution of contracts
Select and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure quality and cost-effective project execution
Risk Management & Communication
Assess and manage project risks, ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders
Provide ongoing updates and clear reporting to relevant teams and leadership
Travel & On-Site Oversight
- Travel to project sites to monitor progress and ensure deadlines and standards are met
