NBC Universal Production Assistant in Miami, Florida

The Production Assistant provides administrative support to hoyDia, and other daily shows as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Provides day-to-day administrative support to the assigned entertainment daily show.

  • Schedules and Attends daily meetings, takes notes and follows up on action items.

  • Escorts guests, talent, and new hires from reception to respective areas.

  • Monitors and order department office supplies.

  • Tracks orders and ensures timely delivery.

  • Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares detailed itineraries.

  • Acts as a liaison between departments and producers.

  • Responds to and anticipates requests from producers, providing fast, accurate, and thoughtful replies; follow up on action items on behalf of the producers as needed.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Works under the direct supervision of the Production Manager and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment

  • Ability to prioritize work and multitask over a wide range of responsibilities, often under tight and changing deadlines.  

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills  

  • Punctual and attentive to details  

  • Must be a quick thinker and have ability to execute quickly. 

  • Ability to maintain discretion and manage confidential information 

  • Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) 

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel 

  • Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, be able to maintain composure and be agreeable to changes

  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Flexible, personable, self-starter, with attention to detail and the ability to interface with all levels of NBCU staff and show crew.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license 

  • Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week 

  • Must be fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write)
