Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Job Description:
Payroll Processing: Execute all tasks necessary to process payroll for two entities (Canada and the U.S.), ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
This includes:
Maintaining and updating payroll records
Filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports
Processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments
Preparing accounting transactions and documents
Documenting and updating payroll procedures
Preparing special reports for management and employees
Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
Addressing and resolving payroll discrepancies
Staying informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations
Providing guidance and support to other team members on payroll matters
Accounts Payable Assistance:
Processing invoices and payments
Reconciling accounts
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in payroll processing
ADP experience required
Payworks & Sage Intacct experience preferred
Multi-state unemployment registration and maintenance experience
401K retirement account management experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.44
