About Chemicals and Natural Resources
Our CNR practice is a specialist group within the Management Consulting team that provides industry leading solutions and services to Chemicals, Mining, Metals, Building Materials and Forest Product industries. An important aspect of our work is to apply digital solutions and services to help our clients transform to a new way of working – focusing on worker safety and productivity, asset performance, operations optimization, and innovative and effective supply chains. We collaborate with technology alliance partners as we work with our clients to strategically assess opportunities and customize solutions that address their challenges to achieve their corporate strategies and priorities.
About the Role:
Are you an industry expert who thrives on applying your deep knowledge in Chemicals & Natural Resources (CNR) to help clients tackle their most complex challenges? Are you passionate about advancing sustainability and digital transformation within the CNR sector? If so, then the Associate Director role in TL&E at Accenture could be the ideal opportunity for you!
In this role, you will be a key thought leader in Accenture’s Resources practice, driving impactful change and innovation for our CNR clients. Leveraging your specialized expertise and consulting background, you’ll be instrumental in guiding client engagements, shaping solutions, and developing growth opportunities within the CNR industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead High-Impact Client Engagements: Spearhead engagements that focus on digital transformation, operational excellence, and sustainability within the Mining or Metals industry, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
Establish Strategic Client Partnerships: Build and deepen client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and gaining a thorough understanding of their unique business challenges.
Influence Thought Leadership and Innovation: Bring forward innovative solutions utilizing Accenture’s cutting-edge capabilities, such as SAP, AI, and Cloud, while addressing critical industry trends.
Drive Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by collaborating on proposal development, client presentations, and strategic sales initiatives.
Mentor and Develop Talent: Cultivate a high-performing environment, offering mentorship and guidance to both junior and peer-level team members, enhancing their industry acumen and consulting skills.
Stay at the Forefront of Industry Trends: Continuously expand your knowledge of emerging technologies, industry challenges, and sustainability solutions relevant to the Mining and/or Metals sector.
Please note, we are open to hiring in most major cities across the US, that are near to an Accenture corporate office.
What you need:
Industry Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in the Natural Resources industry (Mining or Metals), with demonstrated success in addressing key sector challenges.
Consulting Experience: 5+ years in a consulting role or equivalent, ideally with experience managing complex engagements and achieving high levels of client satisfaction.
Sustainability Focus: A genuine commitment to sustainability and helping clients meet their sustainability objectives.
Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities, with experience building trusted relationships at all levels.
Proven Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and foster an environment of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
Nice to Have:
Select experience in the Metals, Ag Chemicals, or Mining Industry.
Technical and Strategic Acumen: Experience with digital transformation strategies and familiarity with technologies like SAP, AI, and Cloud is a plus.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
