We are inviting applications for the role of a bilingual Spanish Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the non-profit sector, based in Miami, Florida. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our HR department, assisting in various administrative tasks and human resources procedures. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the onboarding process by effectively processing new hires.

• Support the HR department in administrative tasks and ensure efficient operations.

• Utilize bilingual skills to process new hires, accommodating a diverse workforce.

• Display responsibility and attention to detail, ensuring all HR tasks are completed accurately.

• Manage the I9 verification process online on the tablet, maintaining compliance with federal regulations.

• Monitor and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date.

• Resolve employee inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals.

• Utilize administrative assistance skills to support the overall function of the HR department.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish

• Familiarity with Human Resources policies and procedures

• Must have experience working in HR

• Ability to handle data with confidentiality

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word

• Experience using HR software and HRIS databases

• Knowledge of labor laws

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
