Leidos Command/Control & Cyber Operations Lead in Miami, Florida

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Lead Enterprise Architect to work onsite in Doral, Florida and have the opportunity to oversee strategic technical and resource planning for the IT and Cyber Services programs supporting the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) 2 contract. The Lead Enterprise Architect will ensure that strategic plans and resourcing for the successful implementation and sustainment of cyber-informed IT solutions that support full-spectrum operations across USSOUTHCOM's Area of Responsibility (AOR), which includes Central and South America and select Caribbean nations. This role requires a combination of technical leadership, engineering expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse mission partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead strategic planning efforts to resource, design, and sustain IT and cybersecurity capabilities across USSOUTHCOM's Enterprise, including OCONUS locations.
Conduct strategic planning to ensure effective resourcing and engineering of seamless, interoperable, and resilient cyber-informed information technology systems aligned with USSOUTHCOM's strategic, operational, and tactical objectives.
Ensure new technologies and implementations meet applicable DOD and joint policy requirements.
Ensure service strategy aligns with both current and future DoD and USSOUTHCOM requirements, incorporating continuous evaluation and refinement of requirements and ser vice catalogs. Collaborate with program management to align enterprise solutions and resourcing with operational needs and strategic goals, driving proactive decision-making.
Utilize innovative technologies and emergent solutions to meet identified capability gaps, reduce total cost of ownership, and enhance mission capability.
Ensure solutions comply with DoD regulations, USSOUTHCOM policies, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum 12 years experience in network/system administration, network engineering, system engineering, cybersecurity or other related work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture roles, with a focus on IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network architectures.
Must currently hold and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance.
Strong technical background in IT service strategy, service design, and budget resourcing.
Experience leading the design and implementation of cyber-informed architectures in a DOD environment.
Proven ability to lead architecture and planning teams in high-stakes, mission-critical environments, including OCONUS deployments.
Ability to travel as needed within the USSOUTHCOM AOR.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering.
Experience architecting IT infrastructure engineering and cybersecurity for combatant commands or other defense organizations.
Knowledge of USSOUTHCOM’s mission, strategic goals, and command structure.
Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish), with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
INCOSE Certified System Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification or above.

Bilingual Communication: Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish to facilitat collaboration across multinational and interagency teams.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
