Overview
Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Boom Truck Operator for the Miami Signature Bridge in Miami, FL .
Primary function is to operate a Boom Truck at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed; operates equipment in compliance with company operating safety, policies, and procedures:

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operates a Boom Truck to complete tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, directing and assisting with rigging
Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials
May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; performs daily safety and maintenance checks; completes paperwork and other documentation as required
May be some vibration associated with equipment operation; jolts and vibrations may result from operating equipment; loud noise when operating equipment
May perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
3-5 years of operating experience preferred
Must possess one of the required certifications to operate applicable equipment including Crane and Boom Truck – Fixed Cab and with an Active CDL License.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
