Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Bookkeeper in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be expected to handle various financial transactions, maintain financial records, and interact effectively with vendors. The position is based in a small office setting and requires strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities promptly and accurately.

• Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and other financial tasks.

• Conduct data entry tasks and maintain updated customer records.

• Use Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level for various financial tasks.

• Ensure smooth communication with vendors, including an insurance company, through proficient writing of emails.

• Ensure the month-end close process is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Handle payroll responsibilities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Perform other duties as required in a small office setting. Requirements

• Proven experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrable skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles and practices

• Detail-oriented with strong Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Ability to perform Month End Close tasks

• Experience in Payroll management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
