Description

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with proficiency in Blackbaud software and light invoice processing to join our reputable team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to self-start, and an understanding of the importance of maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage all financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.

• Work closely with the financial team to create and analyze financial reports.

• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger using Blackbaud software.

• Process, categorize, code, and batch invoices and maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.

• Liaise with the team to improve financial processes and systems.

• Comply with legal requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping experience using Blackbaud software.

• Basic understanding of light invoice processing.

• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Excel skills.

• Extensive understanding of data entry, record keeping and computer operation.

• Detail oriented and organized; strong planning and prioritization abilities.

• Ability to meet all assigned deadlines.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration would be considered an advantage.
