Job Description

A Technician maintains, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, and troubleshoots the CFM56-3/-7 engines of aircrafts to meet FAA standards. This involves They will often work in hangars, repair stations, and on airfields. The position is full-time on an eight-hour schedule with occasional overtime. A Technicians should have strong mechanical abilities and knowledge, be incredibly detail-oriented and thorough. A Technician should be skilled at working with complex information and equipment.

 Running Tests Will run regular maintenance tests and checks to ensure that all components are working to full capacity and that the engine is safe to operate.

 Installing Replacement Parts - Constantly perform regular installations of replacement parts in the CFM56-3/-7 engines which are faulty or damaged.

 Creating Inventories of Supplies - Must keep an inventory of the stock, supplies and tools in possession. As well as a materials and equipment logs used for replenishment for future tasks and projects. Mechanics will also maintain repair logs, reports and documentation of what has been fixed or replaced.

 Performing Maintenance Mechanic will carry out maintenance updates on different components and accessories of engines, such as but not restricted to, inspection, disassembly, reassembly, and troubleshooting.

4 openings- first shift mon-fri 6:30am- 3:30pm

1 opening- weekend - Friday - Sunday 7am-7pm

Pay Rate 26/hr - 54/hr based on experience plus overtime

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years of engine exp

 Team player A&P certification

 Experience working on CFM 56-3 or CFM 56-7 engine

 Bilingual (Spanish) null
