GSO is currently looking for a full-time Aircraft Mechanic. This position is located in Doral, Florida.
WHAT YOULL DO:
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, paint and modify hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and fuel components using state-of-the-art repair techniques and test equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufactures specifications.
- Reads and follows plans and manuals, customer order instructions, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/repair/maintenance duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Functionally test all assemblies to ensure serviceability of completed units.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.
- Develops tools and equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufactures specifications as required.
- Prepare documentation.
- Assist in the training and development of other junior level personnel.
- A technician may be assigned to one or more departments, depending on operational needs of the company at the time of assignment.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or GED;
- Possess basic understanding of shop math;
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and comply with GSOs DOT drug screening program on an ongoing basis;
- Possess the minimum tools to perform aircraft maintenance;
- Be able to work regular hours; Typical shift is 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday;
- Strong ethics with a dedication to safety; and
- Be 18 years or older and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
