A DAY IN THE LIFE …

The main purpose of the IT Asset Custodian is to manage and oversee the company's IT assets through the IT Asset Lifecycle, which covers both Hardware Management and Software Management.

  • For Hardware Asset Management, this includes tasks such as conducting quarterly inventory counts, ensuring the accuracy of asset records, and coordinating with the IT team for any asset movements or repairs. Your responsibility is to ensure that SAP, ServiceNow, and the physical status of the assets are reconciled.

  • For Software Asset Management, this includes tasks such as software registration, software updates, and software decommissioning.

The IT Asset Custodian is also responsible for procurement activities related to Asset Management. This includes tasks such as engagement with procurement and vendors, as well as PR and PO creation. Additionally, monitoring of OPEX payables is part of your responsibilities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 2-3 years experience in IS/IT

• Must be systems and process oriented (keen and accurate with details)

• Strong service orientation with exceptional action and results orientation

• Strong analytical & problem solving skills

• Strong decision making and judgement skills (ability to solve incidents requiring creativity and initiative)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Able to work on basic to advanced computer applications such as MS Word and Excel.

• Must have good interpersonal skills
