Nutanix Tools Platform Manager in Mexico City, Mexico

The Opportunity

This resource will play a pivotal role in the shaping of our overall sales processes and capabilities. With the rapid growth Nutanix is achieving, we need to optimize and transform the sales operations processes and capabilities to scale with business.

As a subscription company, Nutanix relies on our ability to renew our customer

contracts on time. This role will be focused on driving system and process

improvements. The initial responsibility for this individual is to act as the primary resource for our Cloud Economist platform that will be used to retain and grow our existing customers.

This position requires a systems and process view of the business as you will be working with Cloud Economist to design and implement solutions to manage the renewal business. Ideally you possess an analytical mind with the ability to tell a “story” with data that aligns to business optimized outcomes.

This is a highly visible role that will partner with senior leadership, Business Applications, Legal, Finance, Product Management, Marketing and other business partners across Nutanix to drive sales efficiency and operational excellence.

You will lead internal projects to ensure that they meet all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, designing, deployment and adoption. You will manage company and third-party efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

You possess relevant subject matter knowledge across the sales process including Configuration, Pricing, Quoting, CRM (Salesforce) and the overall end to end sales and renewal process in a subscription based business. You will provide innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will lead large and small, cross-organization, cross-regional teams.

About the Team

At Nutanix, the Revenue Operations team is a small yet dynamic group of four talented individuals based across various global locations. You will report to the Revenue Operations Manager, who is dedicated to guiding the team with a focus on professional growth and development. We operate in a hybrid work setup, requiring your presence in the office two to three days a week. This balance allows for productive in-person collaboration while also providing the flexibility to work from home. Additionally, there are no travel requirements for this position, promoting a stable work-life integration.

Your Role

  • Primary point of contact for managing, deploying and maintaining the Mainstay platform for the cloud economist team.

  • Manage and hold the cloud economist team accountable through training, guidelines, and process to adhere to reporting and admin protocols.

  • Act as a business partner to the cloud economist team, understand goals, outcomes, KPI’s and strategy.

  • Ensure Mainstay is running and operational.

  • Project manage Mainstay modeling changes, content changes & new calculator requests.

  • Q&A for internal and external questions.

  • Enable internal & external users on how to navigate the tool.

  • Own the relationship with Mainstay and manage our yearly contract.

  • Indirectly manages large, cross functional teams to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery.

  • Work collaboratively across the global organization to develop and advance key initiatives, optimize business processes, design policies, and drive new solutions.

  • Consults with business partners on issues related to the target processes; assessing relevant business risk, opportunities for efficiency and scale and support for new growth opportunities.

  • Structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics.

  • Develop meaningful measurement systems to confirm impact on business.

  • Collaborates across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy and direction.

  • Support internal processes and ad-hoc projects as required.

What You Will Bring

  • 5-10 years of business experience, including a proven track record of performance in sales reporting and analytics, strategy sales operations or program management roles.

  • Experience with end-to-end sales processes and implementation and/or management of sales tools.

  • Ability to translate ideas and requirements from sales leadership into a documented strawman with defined timelines.

  • Engage and guide technical resources to turn strawmen into insightful and actionable results.

  • Excellent communications skills and a high level of comfort collaborating with both sales and data minded cross functional team members.

  • Ability to articulate Sales Operations practices including Renewals, Channels, Inside Sales, PreSales, and Compensation.

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, SFDC, Clari, and Tableau.

  • Detail-oriented but can also see the big picture. Can crunch the numbers and clearly articulate the key takeaways in an executive summary.

  • Tell a “story.”

  • Proficient in Power Point, and able to build professional, executive worthy decks.

  • Ability to quickly pivot and thrive in an agile environment and meet critical deadlines.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
