Logitech Senior Product Compliance Engineer in Mexico City, Mexico

As a Senior Product Compliance Engineer within the Product Compliance team, you will ensure Logitech products remain compliant throughout their entire product lifecycle. You will interface with engineering, product management, operations, legal and quality teams to drive the implementation of compliance activities related to renewals, new market expansion, design changes, supplier changes, regulation & standard changes and market surveillance. This role involves coordinating externally with certification bodies, testing laboratories, local regulatory compliance partners and others. Your contributions will span from post market launch to product’s end of life. You will be a vital player in Logitech’s diverse portfolio and global reach.

Identify regulatory requirements according to product specifications and desired market entry
Plan and execute product conformity project in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Prepare and submit application packages to external compliance partners, testing laboratories, certification bodies and regulatory authorities
Drive on-time global certifications by liaising with engineering, project managers, E2E compliance engineers and others
Implement regulatory label/markings and user guide compliance statement requirements
Review and approve Engineering Change Orders on behalf of sustaining product compliance
Maintain internal compliance database with proper documentation filing and status update
Attain certification renewals and certificate/test report updates in a timely manner
Provide support to Business Groups for matters related to sustaining product compliance
Communicate compliance project status to stakeholders in a clear and succinct manner
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
7+ years of work experience in product compliance of consumer electronics and/or IT equipment
bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or technology related degree
In-depth knowledge in one or more areas of compliance such as Safety, EMC, RF, Energy efficiency at a product/system level
Experience in managing international approval/global market access and product certifications
Deep understanding of various countries’ type approval processes, certification schemes, global marking requirements, test sample requirements, market surveillances and renewals processes
Familiar with wireless technologies such as SRD, Bluetooth, WIFI, NFC, Qi technology and others
Extensive project management experience, owning and driving schedule, scope, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder management
Good understanding and ability to collaborate cross-functionally in an ODM/OEM and global environment
Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
