Working with Account or Channel Management, assists in developing and executing technology strategy. Designs solutions that meet customer needs and beat competition. Develops strong relationships with sales team, internal engineering, and key technical customer contacts and leverages to Zebra's advantage; creates and delivers high impact solution presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstration Assistance: Assist senior sales engineers or the sales team in preparing and conducting technical demonstrations of products or solutions.

    Materials Preparation: Create and maintain presentation materials, technical specifications, and proposals for potential customers.

    Customer Interaction:

  • Responding to Inquiries: Address customer inquiries about products, technical specifications, and applications, providing answers based on available information.

    Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering and documenting customer requirements to tailor solutions to their specific needs.

    Initial Technical Consulting:

  • Basic Consulting: Provide basic technical advice to help customers understand how solutions can solve their problems or improve their processes.

    Application Analysis: Conduct preliminary analysis of customer applications to identify how products or solutions can be applied.

    Sales Process Support:

  • Opportunity Tracking: Collaborate with the sales team to track sales opportunities, preparing reports and updates on the status of opportunities.

    Proposal Support: Assist in writing and presenting proposals and quotes, ensuring they include necessary technical information.

    Training and Development:

  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training and coaching sessions to gain greater technical and commercial knowledge of products and the market.

    Skills Development: Work to develop technical and commercial skills under the supervision of more experienced sales engineers.

    Internal Collaboration:

  • Working with Teams: Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, product development, and support, to obtain necessary information and resolve technical issues.

    Market Feedback: Provide customer and market feedback to the product team to improve offerings and adjust sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience

  • Uses moderate domain/solutions knowledge

  • Applies Solution Selling concepts to customer situations; excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Understands policies and practices related to role and shares ideas for improvement

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hardware/Sofware

  • English Fluency

  • Explaining Technical Concepts: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to clients who may not have a technical background.

  • Documentation: Ability to prepare technical documentation and presentations that are understandable and persuasive to clients.
