We are looking for a professional with experience in Projects for the following functions:

Position Overview:

Manage customer projects (small and C category) according to PM@Siemens methodology standards and stakeholders requirements through efficient planning, budgeting, management, execution, supervision, control and documentation of the technical, commercial, quality, deliverables and deadlines aspects of the assigned projects, with responsibility for technical, economic, scheduling, quality and customer satisfaction results, all in accordance and compliance of Siemens corporate principles, values and ethics, as well as EHS guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Solped elaboration and monitoring to purchase orders placement.

  • Organization and monitoring the logistics of materials and components supply, as well as the timely delivery of equipment, systems or solutions at customers facilities.

  • Development of project plan including work packages, milestones, and quality gates to supervise and progress tracking.

  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate validation, documentation and communication methods.

  • Building and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation and deliverables that ensure compliance with quality standards and stakeholder requirements.

  • Coordination of internal resources, project team and vendors for the efficient projects execution.

  • Managing effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Constant measurement of project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Reporting to Management about issues, claims, risks, and opportunities, as needed.

  • Managing customer requirements and satisfaction according project scope and specifications.

  • Managing the project throughout the project life cycle until final acceptance (FAC) and expiration of the warranty period.

  • Development of strategies for the project execution.

  • Managing compliance of applicable standards, rules and regulations.

  • Financial controlling: budget, costs, cashflow, invoicing on time, non-conformance cost register, etc.

  • Regular reports on project progress and status (internal and external)

  • Identification of additional business opportunities in ongoing projects.

  • Decision Making. Connecting various pieces of information, understanding interrelations and identifying problems (risks, causes and solutions); establishing clear decision criteria and weighing alternatives; choosing the best option for business success from multiple sources and options.

  • Organized Execution. Establishing an action plan for self and others to complete work efficiently and on time. Ensuring follow-through of plan; Translating strategic priorities into operational reality and concrete actions.

  • Customer Focus. Focusing on the customer’s perspective when setting priorities and taking action; implementing service practices that meet the customers’ and own organization’s needs. promoting and operationalizing customer service as a value in the organization.

  • Influencing and team management. Using effective involvement and persuasion strategies to gain acceptance of ideas and commitment to actions. Creating and executing influencing strategies.

Education, Experience and Capabilities:

  • Electrical engineer with minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical sector.

  • Minimum 5 years working in the field of projects, preferably in both the technical implementation and administrative management of low voltage projects (experience in medium voltage is a plus).

  • Good understanding of formal project management methodologies.

  • PMI – PMP certification is a plus.

  • Reading of electrical diagrams.

  • MS Project.

  • MS Office.

  • AutoCAD is a plus.

  • Conversational spoken and written English (C1 desirable).

  • Wide availability to travel within national territory (mainly) and abroad (occasionally).

  • Frustration tolerance.

  • Self-motivation.

  • Teamwork.

  • Driver's license (desirable).

  • Passport (desirable).

  • USA visa (desirable).

  • CDMX location or suburban area
