Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a Program Manager (L5) to lead our DF-Mexico Strategy. This role will lead planning and execution for NA Direct Fulfillment’s country level strategy for Mexico market place determining selection for the country, vendors and carriers to be onboarded and leading the launch and expansion of this new marketplace.

You will: (1) Engage senior Operations and Retail leaders around a forward-looking strategic aspiration. (2) Explicitly hold the tension between the demands of innovation and the core business. (3) Embrace the ambiguity of multiple agendas in driving expansion, DEA, CX, cost and sourcing strategy. You “Think Big,” seeing beyond barriers and challenges to reset the bar. You use business judgement to make the right decisions quickly and achieve results even in the absence of complete data.

About the team

The Amazon SCOT organization is expanding our Direct Fulfillment (DF) team. The Direct Fulfillment channel allows Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from our vendor’s warehouse, and is one of the fastest growing supply channels at Amazon. Through Direct Fulfillment (a.k.a dropship), our team enables broad in-stock selection for Amazon’s customers, at the quality and speed of delivery they have come to expect.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• English and Spanish required to communicate effectively.

• 4+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.

• 4+ years of team management experience

• 4+ years of cross functional project execution experience

• 4+ years of program or project management experience

• 4+ years supply chain, logistics or direct fulfillment experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
