Looking for an individual with strong Accounting and Excel skills for the position of International Staff Accountant. Must be able to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
Primary responsibility for the position involves the timely settlement and resolution of monthly AR/AP statements, requiring strong communication and problem solving skills, while interacting with all Expeditors offices worldwide and external parties located around the world.
Coordinate monthly financial settlement process with external partners
Reconciliation between Expeditors’ AR/AP and external AR/AP
Assist with dispute resolution between Offices and external partners
Other duties as assigned
Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting /Finance.
1-2 years of experience in Accounting preferred (Not required).
Accounting and Finance knowledge.
Ability to learn and apply global logistics industry processes and procedures.
Customer Satisfaction oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication and presentations.
Ability to relate and influence employees at all levels.
Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Problem solving and business analytical skills.
Ability to complete work within standard procedures, guidelines and office policies.
Self-driven personality and good business sense are expected.
Good data entry and computer skills, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Proficiency in Excel)
