Amazon External Fulfillment Operations Manager in Mexico City, Mexico
Description
External Fulfillment (EF) includes a variety of programs in which Amazon works hand in hand with a wide range of sellers and vendors to ship products from their warehouses directly to our customers.
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and monitoring the seller's/vendor's facilities from an operations and compliance standpoint. This is achieved through the coordination of their term, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
This is a people manager role with six direct reports.
Key job responsibilities
Provide a daily follow up with our sellers/vendors, this is in order to make sure that all our customers orders are processed in timely manner
Keep the program KPIs on target (the ideal candidate needs to be analytical, knowing how to dive deep on root causes and proposing solutions)
Propose standardization and improvements through lean manufacturing techniques
Manage escalations and difficult conversations in English and Spanish with some sellers/vendors and stake holders, having always as main goal to keep and improve our Customer's experience
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of team management experience
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
