What Channel Partnership Excellence contributes to Cardinal Health

This role will work with the Director, Strategic Partnerships to support and implement partnership excellence activities within the assigned region to drive improved business performance.

The main responsibility is to drive execution of the Channel Partners Excellence Program (PEP) across Latam with up to 20% of time supporting projects or activities across international.

This role will involve working in close collaboration with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, IT, commercial excellence, finance, and supply chain. The role is primarily operational, however will have a responsibility for direct interactions with our most important Channel Partners across the region.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ownership of the Partnership Excellence Program for Latam markets, ensuring local commercial teams are fully engaged and executing PEP initiatives.

• Be the Partnership Excellence touch point for identified Strategic and Key Channel Partners acting as additional resource, to the commercial team, for identifying and closing any gaps to enhance the customer experience.

• Own and manage the contract database for Latam markets within the contracting tool. Champion the use of the tool, facilitate training and troubleshooting to local users. Provides reporting and analytics.

• Oversee the channel partner onboarding/exit process and distributor assessment, checklists etc.

• Own the tracking and reporting of PEP program benefits and initiatives

• Work with sales leadership to develop and enhance partner engagement activities

• Drive local execution of PEP initiatives e.g., opportunity management, tender improvement, pricing initiatives and the trace data initiative

• Own and maintain a robust partner database and provide central PEP related communications directly to Strategic Partners

• Oversee PBR process across Latam including the provision of content and attendance where required. Maintain the PBR calendar

• Own any commercial initiatives as directed by Strategic Partnership Director that will enhance or add value to the local commercial team to drive growth

• Provide analytical and project management support to the Partnership Excellence Director

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business, Engineering, Life Sciences) preferred or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years channel partnership experience

• Languages: Advance fluency in English and Spanish (speak, read, write)

• Solid Microsoft Office User, Advanced Excel including knowledge of macros and pivot tables, Tableau and PowerPoint

• Business analytical skills essential

• Excellent organizational skills and time management

• Excellent business influential skills

• Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects

• Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges

• Proactive, positive, inclusive, and customer focus

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Willingness to learn other business systems desirable

• Experience in a large international matrix organization is highly preferred

• Experience in overseeing budgets and expenses

• Experience in developing internal processes and filing systems
