Job Description

Purpose:

The primary objective of this position is to lead, drive and design cross functional global processes, to produce sets of analytics and financials to inform Executive decisions. Specifically, this position is responsible for leading the S&OP processes in commercial coordinating the areas and preparing and co-leading the executive S&OP and FS&OP, leading the Finance Transformation S&OP initiative, driving the annual Min/Max process, coordinating and leading the financial planning and analysis efforts related to LRP, and driving any portfolio alignment across the US and INTL businesses. The incumbent will collaborate cross functionally and cross geographically, designing financial processes, presenting outcomes to senior executives. In addition, this position is responsible to manage and develop finance staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Executive S&OP, design processes in close collaboration with US and the international areas to meet the commercial executives needs and meet operations organization expectations

  • Develop monthly review decks & analytics, present to senior management

  • Manage Sales and Operation Planning process, in coordination with Supply Chain and the commercial affiliates, including all aspects of supply/demand alignment

  • Drive and coordinate Min/Max cycles with Operations, INTL, and US; present to senior leadership; enhance and improve Max review process.

  • Lead LRP process: coordinate deliverables, guidance, process, outcomes with US, INTL, and GCD, areas – lead preparation (requirements, timing calendar, hierarchies…); support Areas and GCD in developing standard deliverables and coordinate all along process. Align with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Close collaboration and communication with TAs, Areas, and key stakeholders to deliver high quality LRP.

  • Work closely with Commercial Strategic Operations (CSO) staff on Board of Directors presentations

  • Ownership for implementing on-going continuous improvement with span of control including optimization initiatives, system deployment, and process optimization.

  • Ownership of staff supervision and development – Responsible for directly and indirectly delegating to and coaching a staff of employees to ensure an optimal level of support to the business and provide coaching and career development opportunities to sustain a high performing staff.

Qualifications

  • Requires 12 years + of FP&A experience in the pharma industry

  • International experience (affiliate, area, and global) as well as deep understanding of US FP&A and forecasting are required

  • 6 years + of management experience & focus on development of direct report and extended staff

  • Ability to influence without direct authority

  • Ability and desire to proactively search out and evaluate business problems and opportunities. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills, able to summarize complex business dynamics into deliverables for executives

  • Ability to operate independently, lead multiple processes and meet tight deadlines while balancing competing priorities

  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience, which includes project leadership in organizing, planning and executing projects across multiple internal and external reporting and organizational lines

Salary: $151,500 - $288,000
